How to Record (Voice)

Create a new voice by clicking the "New Voice" button. Here you can set the name of a voice so it's easier to find later when building or editing a bot.

There are two ways to record your voice:

• Recording your voice

• Uploading a sound file

You can talk about anything. You only need a 1-minute audio clip in most cases to get a clone. If you record with a recording device and upload the files, you get better results but you can just use the mic on your computer and it will save it.

Keep in mind, you can only upload files or record yourself at the moment, you can’t do both.

Tips for voice:

• Try and keep a consistent volume in the recording.

• Try to keep the distance from the computer or recording equipment the same.

• Make sure the room does not have too much echo and is quiet with no background noise.

We are adding phone number access to voice clones shortly, so you will want to do this. People can call and talk to your clone.
